Such a special lady. We were blessed to know her as a patient and friend. She always had a kind word and smile for all. May she be at peace. Todd and Linda Gander

The Lord has called Berdina Gerber home to rest. She taught me from an early age in Sunday school who Jesus is and all that He has done for us. Thanks and praise be to God for her life in Christ. Prayers for comfort for her whole family as they grieve, but not without hope. Berdina now rests from her labors awaiting the resurrection on the Last Day.

I so enjoyed your Mom and Grandma when I volunteered at the Home. For several years she would attend my programs and was an active participant in the conversation or whatever we were discussing. I remember her telling us about the hobos they encountered growing up when I did a discussion on that! She had a friendly smile and always thanked you when we served her meal etc. She loved having the little patriotic fabric wheelchair purse I made to keep her cell phone etc. in. Would have liked to attend the visitation this evening but went to sing at the Home and be with my mother-in- law there. It made me sad to pass her empty room. My sympathy to all. Beth Steffen
