Trish and family--Our special thoughts and prayers are with you since we read of Chad's death. His picture reminds me so much of my nephew Adam Larson (Jack & Cathy) who is 30 now and such a joy to all of us! He lives in a group home in Iowa City and loves it there. Where have the years gone, and how can it be possible we have children that are age 40! Gary & Evelyn (Schrock) Endress

To the Gerber family, I don't think we've ever met but I certainly knew your son, Chad. I was so saddened to hear of his sudden passing this past week. I have a son, Todd Schneider that lives at the Detroit home so they were involved with each other occasionally at parties, etc. I remember Chad well when a large group of them would be invited to Forrest church for the day on Sunday and then a wonderful meal was prepared for them before they headed back home. Chad really enjoyed those times ~ as all of the residents seemed to. My Todd is just a year younger than Chad ~ very hard to imagine him being taken this soon in life. But our greatest desire is then fulfilled ~~ that they are whole, safe in Jesus' loving arms. Thinking of you and praying for you in your great loss. Hoping that we have an opportunity to meet each other someday. I go to the Gridley church ~ close but yet so far ~ since we haven't met. I really wanted to come to the visitation for Chad ~ but I lost my husband very unexpectedly a little over a year ago and I still have a very hard time doing visitations/funerals. May God hold you in His tender loving arms especially at this time of loss. With my deepest sympathy, prayers, and love, Sandy Schneider
