Eureka -Evelyn E. Gudeman, 90, of Eureka, IL passed away at 6:20p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on July 26, 1924 in Eureka, IL a daughter of John and Nima Beer Zimmerman. She married Donald E. Gudeman on October 4, 1970 in Eureka, IL. He survives.
Survivors also include one sister, Gladys Schmidgall of Eureka; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Evelyn worked at the Eureka Hospital as a practical nurse for 25 years.
She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Eureka where services will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9-10a.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home and also from 2-5p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from 9-9:45a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the church before services. Burial will be in the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
