To all of Marge and Dick's children , grandchildren , great grand children, my sincere and deepest wishes for you to rejoice in having had the blessing of having Marge and Dick as your parents, grandparents and great grandparents. I know, first hand, how proud they both were, and still are, of all of you ! You are truly blessed to have them as angels watching over all of you . I first met Dick in the 1970s when we both worked in the Operating Engineers Local 649 in Peoria, IL and I became close friends with Dick and also Marge. They would invite my wife and I out to bring our three young sons to ride horses and visit with them. I was a pallbearer for Dick when he passed away, way to early in 1991, and have fond memories of him trusting me to take the walnut boards that his father had left him to make a entertainment center for him and Marge. We presented the entertainment center to Dick at a tribute dinner on his behalf, shortly before his passing. I have had the fortune to run into Marge a couple of times since 1991 and each time I was so happy to see her. She always would take time to update me and tell me how proud she was of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I was reminded how wonderful both Dick and Marge's presence in my life had been when I attended her visitation last night in Eureka and spoke to many of you and saw pictures of your wonderful family. My truest wishes for all of you to live by their examples as you have been very fortunate to have them ! Rick Porter

Marge was one of my role models as a child. I wanted to grow up to be as fun loving as her. Love this woman. Phyllis (Ruder) Hermann

Hearing of Marjorie's death reminds me of those earlier days when we were all younger ... cousins who often got together when our parents visited or there was a family gathering of some kind. Those were often occasions when Grandma Rocke (Ella) was alive. Time passes and we lose track of each other. Marjorie was some 4 years older than some of us (Joyce, Doris and I), so I'm sure we were considered those bothersome younger members of the family on numerous occasions. Though our paths didn't pass often during our adult years, I remember Marjorie as a very outgoing and friendly person, with a warm smile and eyes that kind of twinkled. One hangs on to those memories when we or a loved one ends their life in a fog of confusion due to a disease of one kind or another. Warm thoughts and prayers are sent your way as you remember those good times as you gather to celebrate her life. I'm sorry I will not be able to make it up to the funeral ... due to the distance from where we now live (Asheville, NC). Larry Wilson

As a co-founder of the "Coffee Club" it saddens to hear of Marge's passing. Hopefully the memories of all the good times we shared together will lift the spirits of all those loved her Marty (Ruder) Gauthier
