Charlotte Smith

Charlotte L.M. Smith, 85, of Eureka peacefully passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Snyder Village in Metamora, IL.
There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, April, 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL with Rev. Mike Stipp officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eureka Nazarene Church. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is assisting the family with services.
Charlotte was born on January, 21, 1936 in Streator, Il to Elmer and Polly Thompson Shofner. She married Jerry Smith in Bloomington on June 22, 1958.
Surviving is her husband of 62 years; children, Mitch (Susan) Smith of Ft. Myers, FL, and Marshall Smith of Eureka, grandchildren; Kassandra (Trey) Hemming of St. Charles, IL, Shelbi Smith of Aldie, VA, Madison Smith of Tallahassee, FL, great-grandchildren; Tripp and Orson Hemming; Also surviving is her sister, Sharon Cusac of Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary, and one brother and one sister.
She was the speech pathologist at the Eureka  School District 140 for thirty-eight years. She was also a member of the Eureka Nazarene Church.
