Dennis Litwiller

Dennis A. Litwiller, 59, of Eureka, passed away at 9:55 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born November 15, 1958 in Peoria, the son of Donald and Shirley (Swanson) Litwiller. Both of his parents survive.
Also surviving are his daughter Danielle Litwiller of Sikeston, MO; one brother Curtis (Lisa) Litwiller of Eureka; one sister Elisa (Tom) Rillie of Stockton, IL; three grandchildren Stephon, Ashlyn and Piper; three nephews Cody, Stanlee, and Simon; and one niece Lexi and her husband Sammy.
Dennis was self-employed with his family construction and developing company. He was a big sports fan. He supported all of the Eureka College athletic teams and made many donations to the athletic department. A seating section at the gym was dedicated to Dennis in honor of his support to the Athletic department. Dennis was also a bowler, golfer, fisherman and a die-hard Cubs fan. He was known as a jokester and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Dennis was a member of the Eureka United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday July 10, 2018. Pastor Paul Wier and Pastor Paul Walles will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery. Argo-Ruestman-Harris funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Eureka United Methodist Church or Eureka College Athletic Department.
