Donna Marie Purfield

Donna M. Purfield, 81, lifetime Eureka Resident, died Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka, IL.

Donna was born on September 1, 1942 to Donald Davidson and Kathleen Orth Davidson. She married Thomas “Tom” Purfield on July 10, 1971, in Peoria Heights. He survives.

Surviving family includes her son, Ryan (Lorinda) Purfield of Eureka; daughter, Anne Purfield of GA; two grandchildren, Lauren and Noah; nieces, Jacqueline Teegarden and Kathleen Meyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jeanne (late David) Meyer, and a brother, Kenton William Davidson.

Donna drove a school bus for CUSD #140 for over 35 years. She was also a member of the China Painting Guild.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Sharing of memories and Celebrating Donna’s Life will be from 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
