Eureka-John "Jack" E. Reiman, Sr. 78, of Eureka, passed away at 10:26 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
He was born October 30, 1940 in Springfield, IL. His parents were Herman and Golda (Elliot) Reiman. He married Virginia Moushon. She survives.
Also surviving is his son John Reiman, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Iowa and one sister Geraldine Reeser and her husband Clinton "Butch" of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents.
John was a Vietnam veteran serving with the U.S. Army as a diesel mechanic and infantryman.
He worked for many places in the area as security. He last worked in housekeeping for the Par-a-dice Hotel in East Peoria. John was a loving, caring person who will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June11, 2019 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
