Kay K. Preuitt, 81, of Goodfield, IL passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 7:02 p.m. at the Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka.

She was born on July 19, 1941 in Eureka, Il a daughter of Chester and Ethel Aberle Finley. She married Charlie Preuitt on February 25, 1961 in Eureka, Il. He survives.

Survivors also include her children, Jeff Preuitt of Mackinaw; Cindi (Mike) Flanagan of Washington; mother, Ethel Finley of Goodfield; two brothers, Randy (Deb) Finley of Eureka; Mike (Teri) Finley of Normal; five grandchildren, Tifanny Hackney, Taylor Kirby, Kyle Flanagan, Jaquie Musick, Derek Flanagan; nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Kay was the Postmaster in Goodfield for 35 years retiring in 1992.

Kay attended Eureka Bible Church where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022. Pastor Paul (Larry) Boyer will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at the Eureka Bible Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling arrangements for the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.argoruestmanharris.com.
