Lee Larry Boles

Funeral services for Lee Larry Boles will be held at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka on Saturday, August 19th. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow immediately at the Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka. 

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on January 25, 1943, and passed away on August 16, 2023.  He was the eldest son of Lee and Dorothy (Kiersch) Boles.  He married Judith Leah Bradle of Eureka, Illinois, on Nov. 17, 1965. 

He is survived by his sons Jeffrey (Celeste) of Hammond, IN and Michael (Cheri) of Eureka; his daughter Virginia “Gigi” of Eureka; his sister Donna (Tom) Lill of Lake Villa, IL; his brother Robert (Cindy) of Spring Grove, IL; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents, wife, Judy, and sister, Patti. 

He was a U.S.A.F. veteran honorably discharged and served in the Illinois National Guard.  He was employed by Caterpillar for over 35 years.  He will be remembered for his love of fishing, Doo-wop, jazz and blues music, poker, debating politics, and being an avid Cubs fan.

He was a devoted husband and a loving father to his three children.  He enjoyed family vacations on Lake Superior and family gatherings in Chicago and Central Illinois.
