EUREKA- Harold "Lynn" Barr, 61, of Eureka, passed away at 4:28 AM on Friday June 27, 2014 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on September 27, 1952 in Springfield, IL, a son of Ruth McAffee Barr. He married Brenda Irene Graham in Lincoln, IL on September 30, 1972. She survives.
Also Surviving are his children, Vickie (George) Hall, Sarcoxie, MO, Rebecca Barr, Peoria, Karen (James) Ogle, Sarcoxie, MO; Stephen ( Sarah) Barr, Eureka, Elizabeth Barr, Eureka; and 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Scott Barr; and a granddaughter, Faith Elizabeth Ogle.
Lynn was a member at Faith Baptist Temple in Eureka. He had worked for Lincoln Developmental Services for over 20 years. Later he enjoyed helping to serve as a groundskeeper for Calvary Baptist Church in Tremont.
Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Faith Baptist Temple in Eureka with pastor Stephen Barr officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 PM at Faith Baptist Temple. Interment will be on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Steenbergen Cemetery in Mount Pulaski, IL.
Memorials can be made to the Faith Baptist Temple Building Fund.
