Mary Fehr

Eureka-Mary Elizabeth Fehr, 99, of Eureka passed away at 1:55 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka where she was a resident.

She was born on October 16, 1916 in Francesville, IN a daughter of Sam and Elizabeth Hartter Walter. She married Ernest R. Fehr on January 25, 1948 in Roanoke, IL. He passed away on February 20, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Colclasure; two sons, Kenneth (Sandy) Fehr; Stephen (Deb) Fehr all of Eureka; twelve grandchildren, and thirty-two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son-in-law Ron Colclasure; one infant sister Elizabeth; one sister Salome; four brothers Mike, Art, Fred, Dan; and one great-grandson, Ashton Fehr.

After raising her family, Mary worked at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka in the kitchen and craft area.

She was a member of the Eureka Apostolic Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4-8 pm at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and from 9-9:45 am on Saturday before the services. Burial will be in the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
