Mildred A. Orth, 87, of Eureka died at 12:04 A.M., Thursday, October 22, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

She was born September 15, 1928 in Rutland, IL, the daughter of Kathryn (Patten) and Joseph Schmillen. She married Emory P. Orth on May 26, 1951 in Rutland, IL. He died on September 17, 1980 in Metamora, IL. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Surviving are one daughter Ann (Denny) Garey of Eureka, three sons, Jeffrey (Susan) Orth of Jacksonville, FL, Gerald (Karen) Orth of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Thomas (Tina) Orth of Whiting, New Jersey; two sisters, Marian Norwood of Bloomington, IL and Ruth (Bud) Lauf of Wenona, IL; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mildred worked many jobs over the years. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Eureka, IL.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Eureka, IL. Father Eugene Radosevich will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Cremation will be accorded. Argo-Ruestman-Harris is assisting the family with final arrangements. Burial of her ashes will be in Rutland Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church or American Cancer Society.
