RADY MICHAEL DETWEILER

R. Michael Detweiler, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, friend, and most importantly son of the King, entered into his heavenly forever home Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 9:05 a.m. He entered with sunshine on his face and his earthly forever family surrounding him with love, scripture and song.

Born October 29, 1994, in Dobrich, Bulgaria, he came home to his earthly forever family December 24, 2000. What a blessed Christmas for us all! Son of Drs. Michael and Susan Detweiler, brother to Molly (Max) King, Ochlocknee, GA, Riley Hanrahan, Dawson, IL, Levi Detweiler, Antioch, TN, Teodora Detweiler, Dawson, IL, all surviving.
Also surviving are his grandparents Raymond & Dorothy Bristol (Grandpa Ahoogah & Grandma Sunshine), Sally Detweiler (Baba), Peggy Callahan (Grandma Peggy); nephews and nieces: Jaxon King, Jaden King, Julia King, Jameson King, Brielle Hanrahan, & Ronan Hanrahan. He was preceded in death by Grandfathers Gerald Detweiler and Ronald Callahan.

Michael was a jack of all trades and master of many! A true solutioner and fixer! He worked various jobs including installation, alarm monitoring, construction, and delivery. His most enjoyed occupation was R.M.D Services. His own services and repair (of anything) business. He was gifted in his ability of being handy and able to do anything. Far too many things in our world will stay broken now, most significantly our hearts.

His name meant Joyful Spirit, who is like God. His character qualities were diligence, courage, generosity and love. His hobbies included long range rifle shooting, bowling, and helping anyone with anything at any time. He was of pure heart and intentions. We have learned much from him! He knew and loved his Saviour, Jesus Christ and his family with all of his heart. He was quiet thoughtful, attentive to others, and when he spoke you needed to listen.
