Raleigh was a man of deep faith, physical strength and endless service to family and friends. He was unapologetically friendly saying he never met a stranger, only friends he hadn't met yet. He was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and wit, coupled with a unique ability to tell stories. Raleigh loved hard work and always kept busy. He was kind, caring and generous and used these virtues to bless the lives of many. Raleigh was a veteran who served his country with the Unites States Navy - he was stationed on the USS Midway during the Vietnam era. He worked for the Boeing Military Company in Wichita, KS as an engineer until his retirement in 2012.
A Memorial Service with full military honors will be on February 23, 2017 at South Point Park in El Paso, IL with Rev. Raymond Barker and Rev. John Barker officiating. Cremation will be accorded.
