Reba Lois Merritt, 76, of Eureka, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Heritage Health in El Paso with family by her side.
She was born May 9, 1945, in Buck Creek, OK, to Geather and Lois (Deaton) Anderson. She married Franklin D. Merritt on September 1, 1962, in Broseley, MO. He survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Franklin E. (Jill) Merritt of Eureka, Kenneth (Llisa) Merritt of Morton, Wm. DeWayne Merritt of Pekin, Michael (Jenni) Merritt of Eureka; one daughter, Crystal (Pam) Merritt of Palm Coast, FL; one brother, John (Penny) Anderson of Yellville, AR; two sisters, Maxine Shipley of Eureka, Kathleen (Ray) Archey of Shady Point, OK; sister-in-law, Carol Anderson of Eureka; thirteen grandchildren, Kourt (Jenifer) Merritt, Brittany (Jeremy) Moxley, Brock (Bre) Merritt, Kyle (Kirsten) Merritt, Kayla Merritt, Chelsea (Larry) Milsteadt, Quincy (Wes) Thompson, Chet Merritt, Kelsey (Jerrod) Eigsti, Kolton (Maddie) Merritt, Kaleb Merritt, Konnor Merritt, Jeffrey (Nicole) Anderson; thirteen great-grandchildren, Harper, Haven, Crew, Luke, Madissyn, Hunter, Nolan, Lennon, Lola, Rhett, Indie, Asa, Avery, and two on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
Reba was a homemaker who loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved crocheting blankets, seek & find books, and adult coloring books. She also enjoyed prepping her flowerbeds in the spring and watching them blossom throughout the year.
A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Olio Township Cemetery. Argo-Ruestman-Harris is assisting the family with arrangements.
