Rodger Allen Webb, 82, of Congerville, IL passed away at 12:29 a.m. on Thursday December 31, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Bridgewater, IA a son of Sherman and Opal Lundy Webb. He married Faye Blazek. She passed away in 1966. He later married Irma Gene Fitzgerald in June 1968 in Southern Illinois. She passed away on May 18, 2018.
Survivors include one son, Duane (Kelly) Webb of Congerville; two daughters, Christina Webb (Steven Cooksey) of Eureka; Diane (the late Scott) Clark of Congerville; two brothers, Walter (Clydene) Webb of Texas; Glen (Jeni) Webb of Virginia; four grandchildren, Trent, Becky, Logan and Aaron.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gaylord Webb.
He worked at Caterpillar as a machine operator for 30 years retiring in 1986. After retirement he worked at Early Bird in Goodfield for 16 years. Rodger also worked with Duane in the auction business for 27 years.
Rodger enjoyed working on cars and restoring cars.
A Private family service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Pastor Phil Bachman will officiate. Social distancing guideline will be observed for the funeral service. A Celebration of Life and Visitation will be held in 2021. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling arrangements for the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Peoria. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.argoruestmanharris.com.
