Ruth Ludeman

Ruth F. Ludeman, 90, of Eureka, passed away at 7:19 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka where she had been a resident for the last ten years.

She was born March 1, 1930 in Secor, IL, the daughter of Michael and Pearl (Hunsinger) Garrels. She married Wilbur Ludeman on September 10, 1950 in Secor. He preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister LaVerne Kilpatrick.

Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Ron) Snyder of Eureka, Cindy (Phil) Schlachtenhaufen of Tomahawk, WI; two grandsons, Jacob Snyder of Victoria, TX and Andrew (Jenae) Snyder of Eureka; one sister Marjorie Krug of El Paso; and three great-grandsons Darrell Quast, Sam Snyder, and Hank Snyder.

Ruth attended Secor and El Paso schools. She was a retired Real Estate Broker working in the Eureka, Washington and Roanoke areas and had worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Eureka for 16 years retiring in 1990. She was also a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Eureka.

A private graveside service will be held at Olio Township Cemetery at a later date. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
