Samuel Anthony Waller, 77, of ruralCarlock, Il passed away at home on his farm surrounded by family and was welcomed home by Jesus into heaven on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
He was born on December 10, 1940 in Carlock, IL a son of Sammie Houston and Teresa Marksteiner Waller. He married Neva Kelley on May 17, 1964 in Morton, IL. She passed away on April 9, 2016.
Survivors include four children, Jeff(Pansy) Waller of San Angelo, TX; Jody(Tom) Bunton of Washington, IL; Daniel(Stacy) Waller of Eureka, IL; Natalie Waller of Bloomington, IL; three brothers, Jim(Jackie) Waller of Hudson, IL; Bob Waller and Roger(Pat) Waller both of Carlock, IL; one sister, Esther(Bob) Shaw of Lehigh Acres, FL; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by many foster children whom he and his wife welcomed into their home over the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Sam graduated from El Paso High School. He was a farmer and also worked for Crow's Hybrid Seed Company before starting his own seed company, Ag Plus Seed Company. After retirement, he worked as a crop adjuster for Country and Great American Insurance Company.
Sam was a member of the Army National Guard.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Liberty Bible Church in Eureka. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 4-7p.m. at Liberty Bible Church and also from 10:00-10:30a.m. on Tuesday prior to services at the church. Burial will be at East White Oak Union Cemetery in rural Carlock. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home is handling arrangements for the family.
