Sandy Chang from Fort Worth, Texas went to her forever home on July 12, 2021.

Sandy was born on February 25, 1950 in Bloomington, Illinois to Jake Miller of Goodfield, IL and Marion Steffen of Elgin IL. She married Herbic Chang in Normal, IL on October 20, 1973.

She is survived by her daughter Angie Lamas, son-in-law Jose Lamas, granddaughters Noelia Lamas, Dahlia Lamas, Ella Lamas and her siblings Barbara Kennell, Joe Miller, Warren (Valerie) Miller, Linda (Arnold) Elam, Marie Weesie Hickson. She was preceded in death by her parents Jake Miller and Marion Steffen and her brother Edward Miller.

Sandy was a lifelong creative artist and celebrated cake decorator for over 40 years, also known as the Cake Lady. She was truly loved by her customers who became some of her best friends. She was adored by all who crossed her path and enjoyed serving others. Her passion was working, swimming and entertaining in her backyard oasis. Her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters were the joy of her life. Over the past year she has demonstrated her strength and determination to overcome cancer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Burial will follow the visitation at the Goodfield/Congerville Apostolic Christian Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling arrangements.
