Tamitha Missey

Tamitha A. "Tammy" Missey 42, of Secor passed away on September 12, 2019 at Advocate Eureka Community Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1977 in Peoria the daughter of Barbara (Douglas Harris) Missey-Barker.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather: Barbara (Stephen) Barker of Eureka; 1 brother: Jeremy Missey of Morton; 2 nieces: Jordan (Kyle) Schaefer of Morton, Autumn Missey of Eureka; 2 nephews: Christian and Conner Missey; and 1 great niece: Harlee Schaefer.
Tammy was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; father: Douglas Harris; and 1 sister: Renee Missey-Dwyer.
She worked at Caterpillar as a fork truck operator. She was a member of the Eureka Grace Nazarene Church. She will be missed and cherished by all who had the opportunity to meet her.
A memorial visitation is planned for Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 2 to 4 at the Eureka Grace Nazarene Church. A memorial service will follow. Pastor Mike Stipp will officiate the service. Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka.
