William McFall

Eureka-William Dean McFall, 70, of Eureka, IL passed away at 5:08 am on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Heartland Health Care in Normal.

He was born on October 3, 1945 in Seymour, MO a son of Luellen and Mildred McFall.

Surviving are his two children, William Eugene (Tanya Foster) McFall of Albuquerque, NM; Shirley (Patrick) James of Colorado; his mother, Mildred McFall of Eureka; one granddaughter, Heaven Leigh James of Arlington, TX; five sisters, Eulavie (Julian) Kight of Chenoa, IL; Treva (Leo) Kern of Galena, IL; Patricia (Donald) Downen of Secor, IL; Wanda Sutter of Hudson, IL; Margaret Davidson of Normal, IL; and one brother, Joseph Lee (Mary) McFall of Dunedin, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Steven Sutter.

William served his country with the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He retired from Caterpillar and was a member of the Local UAW 974 and the Central Illinois Gourd Dance Club.

A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL where military rites will be accorded at the grave. Rev. Doug Hicks will officiate.
