Chris and Linda, your mom was a sweet, sweet lady. When I'd see her at Maple lawn she always remembered who I was and that I was in Chris's class at EHS.

i am so sorry to see that Gwen passed. With everything going on we havent been able to visit at the home. She always had a beautiful smile and was more than eager to report to steve when he asked about her family. I always enjoyed visiting her. You are in our thoughts and prayers for the the situation that we are in now. Gods blessings to your family Lynn & Steve Crawford & family

Linda and Chris, Such a special lady, I remember her as loving and tolerant of the little neighborhood errant child(me). I was in awe of her pies and that wonderful and lovely straight stitch she created on her self pedaled treadle sewing machine. Not being able to gather makes saying goodbye harder and the feeling of loss more acute. When we visit Frank and Kitty in Missouri they always have wonderful stories to share. So sorry, many thoughts and prayers your way. Judy Schertz

When my mother, Annette Dyar Sherman resided at Maple Lawn Shelter Care, in 2015, Gwen lived next door to her, and helped her adjust to living there. She was a delightful, friendly person, and I will always remember that! Susan L. Elliott

Chris and Linda, I was so sorry to see that your mom passed. She was a wonderful cook and even a nicer person at the Middle School when I began teaching in 1971. She brightened my day. I can't believe that your dad has been gone over 20 years. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. God bless both of you. Coach and Karen Gerdes
